Faith is at the center of what we teach and model at St. Joseph School where our students gain an understanding of how to love others as Jesus loves them. Together the student body attends and leads Mass weekly and they gather to pray the Rosary on the first Friday of every month. The sacrament of reconciliation is celebrated during the Advent and Lenten seasons as well as attending and participating in the Stations of the Cross. Their faith is strengthened by a culture that nurtures the students to become the best versions of themselves by acts of kindness (Saint John Paul II awards), visiting the elderly, serving at funerals, providing for the less fortunate through our food shelf, service projects, parish events and other ministries.
St. Joseph was the protector of Jesus throughout his childhood. We pray this novena prayer to St. Joseph asking for his assistance and intercession for all of us on our earthly journey. Please join us in our prayer to St. Joseph.
Oh St. Joseph whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the Throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires.
Oh St. Joseph do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, Our Lord; so that having engaged here below your Heavenly power I may offer my Thanksgiving and Homage to the Loving of Fathers.
Oh St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart.
Press Him in my name and kiss His fine Head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath.
St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls, pray for us.
