Math League is open to grades 6th -8th.
The St. Joseph Catholic School competes in the West Metro division of the Minnesota Junior High Math League. Participation in the math league gives students an opportunity to expand their math skills individually and cooperatively in groups. It is also a chance for students to compete against the best “Mathletes” in the western suburbs. There are five meets from October to January which are approximately 3 school weeks apart. Students compete for team and individual honors. The team consists of students in grades 6-8 and practices approximately once per week from September to January. The team is coached by Kristi Klawitter and Amy Gallus.
