Mara Dehning is our new school Office Manager. Mara grew up in south Minneapolis and spent kindergarten through high school graduation in the Twin Cities parochial school system. Her financial background includes both Wells Fargo and US Bank, and for eight years she was the school secretary for Monroe Elementary School in North Mankato and the Catechism secretary for Holy Family Catholic Church. She and her husband, Chris, have three grown children. They moved here two years ago to be closer to her parents, siblings and lifelong friends. Mara describes herself as a “git ‘er dun” straight shooter. After many years in the corporate financial world, she says, “I wake up every day so happy to be working here at St. Josephs School. There’s nothing about this school and my work I don’t enjoy. The people here are awesome!” She is very excited to meet the students and their families and looks forward to getting more involved in the community that she has already fallen in love with.
