Mrs. Tiana Moyer has been teaching at St. Joseph Catholic School since the fall of 2014. She attended Minnesota State University Mankato and earned a degree in Elementary Education with a focus in preprimary ages 3 to grade 3. She also attended the University of St. Kate’s and earned a STEM teaching certificate and earned a STEM teaching certificate. She was recently certified as a Groves Learning Organization Certified Literacy Instructor.
It’s not uncommon to hear Mrs. Moyer’s students call her mom, which is great evidence of the love that she packs into her teaching and her students. Faith, family, and teaching are the loves in Mrs. Moyer’s life. Tiana’s philosophy is to teach the minds of our youngest learners so that they will become our future engineers, teachers, doctors, inventors, business people, religious vocation, or whatever career they choose and she lays a foundation of what learners need to know to be successful in life.
Mrs. Moyer has assisted 5 and 6-year-old students since 2014 as they learn as much as possible about their Faith and academics during kindergarten. She sees every year as a new adventure of learning with her students. With the help of God, her goal is to help guide these students to become the best version of themselves in what they say and do.
Mrs. Moyer loves her family life as well as her career. Her husband is an engineer and they have 5 children. Their oldest attends Waconia High School and their younger 4 children attend St. Joseph Catholic Stem School where learning and faith go hand in hand. As a family, the Moyer’s enjoy playing board games, going for walks/bike rides, and going on family vacations.
St. Joseph Catholic STEM School is blessed to have Mrs. Moyer introduce them to the world of K-12 education.
