Jenn lives in Waconia with her husband and 2 sons. She earned a B.S. in Medical Laboratory Science at the University of Cincinnati and worked as a Medical Scientist for 19 years before returning to school to earn her M.S in Elementary Education at the College of St. Scholastica. She has also completed her STEM Teaching Certification through St. Catherine’s University. She uses that to introduce innovative STEM projects in the classroom that allow students to see the connection between what they are learning and how it is used in the real world.
One of the things she loves most about teaching is when she can see her students have the moment when it all “clicks” and seeing how excited her students are to learn!
In her free time if Jenn isn’t cheering on her sons playing sports you can find her cheering on the Twins or Vikings. She also enjoys hanging out in their backyard having family nights and her early morning workouts.
