Lexie Kruse has developed an exciting career as a professional trumpet player. As an artist, she performs in both the classical and jazz idioms and can be seen performing with artists such as Adele. Primarily, Lexie has worked in professional pit orchestras, playing shows such as An American in Paris, Elf the Musical, Chicago, Sister Act, Guys and Dolls, Shrek the Musical, Titanic, Gypsy, and Sweeney Todd. Classically, Lexie has performed as a featured soloist performing works such as The Carnival of Venice with concert bands throughout the United States and Europe.
As an educator, Lexie was Professor of Trumpet at Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona where she taught individual trumpet lessons, led the trumpet ensemble, conducted wind ensemble, and coached chamber groups. In addition to her work with the community college, she has presented many masterclasses and worked as a clinician with ensembles of all ages. Lexie is absolutely thrilled to be back in Minnesota and cannot wait to create music with the students at St. Joseph Catholic School!
